Founder & Chief Executive
Marshall brings over 30 years of executive leadership experience in development, hospitality and tourism to Beò Partnership, which he founded in July 2025 after 10 years as Chief Executive of the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. “The name "Beò" comes from the Gaelic word meaning "alive, living, vital"—reflecting our mission to revitalize Scotland's towns and city centres.”
Throughout his career at organisations including Gleneagles Hotel, Trust House Forte, Queens Moat House and Macdonald Hotels, Marshall has learned that the most successful projects are those where everyone wins. His expertise in strategic planning and stakeholder engagement focuses on transforming overlooked areas into thriving destinations that deliver value for investors, partners, local communities, and businesses alike.
